The English Department’s mission, at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels, is to study the histories, genres, theories and practices associated with the production of texts of all kinds and to help students engage in disciplinary conversations concerning them within their cultural contexts. We are committed to pluralism and a variety of emphases and perspectives in all that we teach. |

- Acceptable skills in oral presentation
